Wylie Scott Atkinson and Gia Ann Bivens were married 18 April 2009 in the lovely Hess Camellia Gardens at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Scott is the son of Melanie Fay Johnson and grandson of Wylie Pierson and Lurene Hall Johnson (Uncle Wylie and Aunt “Dolly”).

We don’t have wedding photos for you (yet - maybe later?), but we do have some fun video footage of the rehearsal dinner toasts and a wonderful slideshow compiled by Gia’s sister Brynne Bivens, Scott’s sister Kellet Carmichael, and good friend Josh May. The slideshow was shown the night of the rehearsal dinner and highlights the childhood, young adulthood, and uniting of Gia and Scott - a wonderful collection of memories.
